Polling for the Maharashtra elections closed with a voter turnout of 58.43%, up from 61.74% in 2019. While Mahayuti is generally favored by most exit polls, MVA remains hopeful of defying predictions, with Congress leader Ramesh Chennithala expressing confidence that the MVA will form the government, despite the poll projections. Vote counting will take place on November 23.
